When it comes to taking DRS reviews, Virat Kohli’s luck has never favoured him. Especially in the ongoing test series between the Blues and England, Virat Kohli’s reviews have gone waste on various occasions. Mohammad Siraj is the bowler who caused the greatest of troubles for Virat Kohli as he was the enthusiastic bowler on many occasions who persuaded the captain to go for the review only to waste it.

However, shocking everyone on day 2 of the third test, Mohammad Siraj and Virat Kohli took a perfect review and it evidently surprised them as well. It was for the dismissal of England’s set batsman Dawid Malan that they took the successful review. The batsman was playing on 70 and he was looking in terrific touch. It was then that Mohammad Siraj bowled a peach delivery to completely take Malan off-guard and he was caught behind by Indian keeper Rishabh Pant. The on-field umpire did not see the contact between the bat and the ball and gave the benefit of doubt to the batsman, ruling it not out.
Mohammad Siraj and Virat Kohli were sure that there was a connection and therefore, they went upstairs. To everyone’s surprise and theirs as well, the review went in their favour and Dawid Malan had to depart. Mohammad Siraj and Virat Kohli themselves started laughing after taking the review right and it said a lot. Finally Virat Kohli takes a right review!
