Team India has completed their 6-day training, fitness, and preparatory camp in Alur, Bangalore. They are now ready to depart for Sri Lanka, where they will be taking part in the Asia Cup 2023 tournament.

The Asia Cup is set to commence on August 30 in Multan, featuring Pakistan hosting Nepal. Meanwhile, India’s campaign will kick off in Kandy, where they will face Pakistan on September 2.

The BCCI released a video showcasing snippets of the Indian players during their training camp in Bangalore. It was a delightful sight to witness all the players in excellent form; even KL Rahul, who will miss the matches against Pakistan and Nepal due to a minor injury, participated in wicket-keeping drills. Shreyas Iyer displayed his batting prowess with great enthusiasm.

As always, Virat Kohli was actively involved in the action, and fans caught glimpses of the superstar batsman’s net sessions. In a standout moment, Kohli smashed a massive six off a short-length delivery from fast bowler Mohammed Siraj. Additionally, Kohli was seen powerfully hitting a full-length ball, although the bowler’s identity remained undisclosed.

Virat Kohli’s current form preceding the Asia Cup and, notably, leading up to the 2023 World Cup, comes as fantastic news for Indian supporters.
