The Indian Cricket Team will look for the whitewash to win the fifth and last One Day International of the Micromax Cup against Sri Lanka. The Indian opener batsman Shikhar Dhawan will miss the last match due to fly back to India.

Ajinkya Rahane is likely to open the innings with Rohit Sharma. Rohit Sharma has already hit two consecutive centuries in the series so far. The Indian captain Virat Kohli is also back in the form in the last One Day International match and delivered a brilliant century.

Kohli was also the player of the match in that game. The middle order batsman Manish Pandey will be retained in the team, who got a chance in the last game and played a great innings in the death overs.

The wicketkeeper batsman MS Dhoni played three back to back valuable innings in the series. So he is also in the great form so far in this series. KL Rahul looks inconsistent in the whole series, after a great test series. So Kedar Jadhav might get a chance in place of Rahul.

The all rounder Hardik Pandya failed to impress with his batting so far, but he is one of the valuable players for captain Virat Kohli. The both spinners of today’s game will be Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav.

Shardul Thakur will be regaining his spot in the fifth game after an impressive debut in the last game. The other fast bowler will be Jasprit Bumrah, who is now the leading wicket taker of this series.

India’s probable playing XI: Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey, MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur
