WATCH: Deepak Chahar proposes to his girlfriend after losing the match against Punjab; his girlfriend said ‘YES’

After the conclusion of the match between Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings at The Dubai International Stadium, some unreal scenes were seen at the stadium.

Chennai Super Kings bowler Deepak Chahar was seen proposing his girlfriend after the match ended on Thursday. After losing the match by 6 wickets, Deepak Chahar went to his girlfriend who was sitting in the audience gallery and proposed to her on his knees. Deepak Chahar’s girlfriend accepted the proposal and said ‘YES’. The video is going viral in the net.

It is reported that Chahar wanted to propose to his girlfriend during the playoffs. Deepak consulted CSK skipper MS Dhoni about this. Dhoni advised the 29-year-old to do this only during the league matches, due to which Deepak proposed to his girlfriend and wore a ring during the match against Punjab Kings.

Inspite of conceding 42 runs in his four over spell Deepak Chahar went up to the stands and proposed his girlfriend. After losing the toss, MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings put up 134 on the board. Faf Du Plessis 76 run innings off 55 deliveries helped CSK reach to a respectful total. While chasing down the target of 135, PBKS lost the wicket of Mayank Agarwal in the 5th over after an explosive start to the innings. Sarfaraz Khan yet again scored a duck but this time he faced three deliveries. Shahrukh Khan and Aiden Markram were dismissed cheaply but KL Rahul’s unbeaten 98 run innings helped PBKS reach the total in 13 overs. KL Rahul scored 98 runs off 42 deliveries which comprised of 7 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 233.33. It was because of Rahul’s valuable contribution that PBKS reached the total with 42 balls to spare.
