Skipper Sanju Samson got off cheaply off Ishan Porel’s delivery as the debutant picked his maiden IPL wicket. In spite of losing wickets in one end, Jaiswal was looking good as he was hitting huge sixes off Adil Rashid’s delivery.
Liam Livingstone was building a good partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Liam Livingstone took his innings to the next gear by hitting a monstrous six off Arshdeep’s Singh bowling. Arshdeep bowled a slower delivery but Livingstone judged it correctly and struck a monstrous 97 meter six. He picked the change of pace and struck it over mid-wicket. The sound of it clearly justified the distance the ball travelled. The ball flew into the night sky and went to the top tier.
KL Rahul’s reaction clearly tells the story about how well the ball was hit.
