Rishabh Pant was involved in a hilarious incident with KKR keeper Dinesh Karthik during the first innings of the 41st match at Sharjah.

Delhi Capitals are struggling to put runs on the board after Eoin Morgan put them to bat. DC skipper Rishabh Pant replaced injured Prithvi Shaw with Steve Smith. KKR bowlers were bowling tight lengths and were not giving any room to the DC batsmen.

The new opening duo of Dhawan and Smith managed to score 35 runs before Lockie Ferguson removed Shikhar Dhawan. Dhawan scored 24 off 20 deliveries while former DC skipper managed to score only a run before Sunil Narine knocked his stumps off. Steve Smith was struggling to score runs. He managed to score 39 off 34 deliveries before getting dismissed by Lockie Ferguson.

Rishabh Pant is known for his hilarious incidents on the field. Pant never fails to entertain his viewers, be it his various voices behind the stumps or his fearless batting. In the ongoing match a hilarious incident took place.

When Varun Chakraborty came out to bowl in the 17th over, DC had scored 98 runs at the expense of 6 wickets. DC skipper Rishabh Pant tried to smash the first ball of the over. Pant mistimed it and the ball was bouncing close to the stumps. So Rishabh Pant tried to smack it away from the wicket with his bat. During that process he almost hit KKR wicketkeeper Dinesh Kathik who was inches closer to Pant’s willow. But the former KKR skipper got away but did not look happy after the incident. But Rishabh Pant immediately apologized to the senior player. But the two shared smiles after the incident took place.
