ENG vs IND 4th test Day 5 LIVE: The English batting lineup is stumbling after the lunch break on Day 5. India have picked up 9 wickets and are inches closer to the victory at Kennington, Oval. Ever since Haseeb Hameed lost his wicket to Ravindra Jadeja, wickets are flowing in quick succession. After Joe Root played on off Shardul Thakur’s delivery a victory for India looked quite possible. Umesh Yadav removed Woakes towards the end of the session 2.

In the 89th over of the game, just after taking the second new ball Umesh Yadav bowled Craig Overton out. Overton scored 10 runs off 29 deliveries which included a single four. The second new ball did the work for India. Yadav served a good length ball which was nipping away from the batsmen. Craig Overton tried to defend the ball but it hit his arms and crashed straight onto the stumps behind him. Overton stood there for a while clinging onto his right elbow. Craig Overton walked off from the pitch and looked in serious pain. No physio or 12th man from the English side came to assist him. Overton went back to the dugout in great discomfort.

India are a wicket away to win the test match and take a 2-1 lead in the five match test series.
